Over the years I had gathered a backlog of photos that needed editing. Only recently have I been able to work through the backlog

No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky filled my photography desires in the early stages of the pandemic when I stopped hiking. It offers a lot of incredible vistas for photographing without the need to leave my apartment. They updated the game at some point to have more variety in the planets and an improved camera mode. Unfortunately, I stopped playing by this point but I have started considering getting back into the game.

All No Man's Sky adventures start with the same spaceship.

Grand Canyon

Back in 2018 I went on a trip to the Grand Canyon. Pictures do not do justice to how big the canyon is. We went at the end of November, which is a great time to visit. Not that many visitors, possibility of snow, and more interesting weather.

Christmas Lights

For 2019, just before the stay at home orders, I took a family trip to Nashville Tennessee. The Warner Parks had a night of lights for the Holidays. I didn’t get many good photos because of the low light conditions, I didn’t increase the ISO enough to capture stable photos. That or I should invest in a Monopod of some sort.

Palmdale Photography

To help my sanity during the pandemic I went to live with my Mom for a bit in the high desert in Southern California. Surprisingly it snowed a couple times, offering a very unique opportunities to photograph Joshua trees in the snow. While there we took some trips to Red Rock Canyon and Vasquez Rocks, all interesting bits of desert.
